The stories and the adventures are great. Great set for any kid age 4-8. We just about have the whole set of these books. When my son didn't need us to read them to him anymore we had him read them to us because we wanted to know what was going to happen next to Jack and Annie. I just started reading them again with my 4yr old daughter. We got them for my son who now is 13, but we read them when he was 5 and by them time he turned 6 he was reading them himself. They are great.
I am an adult and i still enjoy these stories, great books. My son loved the book; Jack and Annie's adventures are amazing. You have to have read the series from the beginning to understand everything is going on.
